About Us

Our Origin Story: The Reason Why

Man in the Mirror UK began with one simple, powerful question: What happens when a man finally faces his reflection and chooses to change what he sees?

In countless homes, workplaces, and communities, Black men have been conditioned to stay silent, to be strong, to carry unspoken pain in the shadows. But silence has never been healing and invisibility is not strength.

We created Man in the Mirror UK to change that narrative.

What started as honest conversations between brothers Kunle, Keye, and a community of like-minded men grew into a national movement. A space built by Black men for Black men. A space to speak freely, to heal loudly, and to rebuild confidently.

We exist because every Black man deserves the freedom to be his full self-mind, body, and soul.

Our Goals

  • Create safe spaces online and offline, where Black men can talk openly, without judgement.
  • Provide culturally competent workshops, programmes, and content tailored to lived Black experiences in the UK.
  • Support young Black boys early, so the next generation of men grows up emotionally aware and confident.
  • Shift the narrative around Black men’s mental health from silence and stigma to strength and support.

This is your invitation.

If you are a Black man ready to heal, grow, and connect – this space is for you.
If you are a partner, ally, school, or organisation ready to change lives – we want to work with you.

Stand with us.
Start with you.
